You don’t have to visit New York City, Chicago, or Savannah to have an amazing St. Patrick’s Day celebration! Small towns across the country are going green each March for St. Patrick’s Day. Here are 5 of the best celebrations happening across America:
Delray Beach, Florida: Has the largest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the state of Florida. Since 1968 the Delray Beach St. Patricks Day parade has been Florida’s premiere parade. In 2010 the parade theme changed to pay tribute to the International Emergency Services community (Firefighters, Police, Paramedics). Word quickly spread through the social media circuit and to date the parade has been host to uniformed personnel from Canada, Ireland, Belgium, Australia, and all across the continental United States.
Montauk, New York: Now in it’s 53rd year, the small seaside town of Montauk is home New York’s second largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade!
Seaside Height, New Jersey: Head to the Boulevard in Seaside Heights for the Ocean County St Patrick’s Day Parade. Thousands of spectators will be there to see the floats, marching bands, dancers and more.
